  1. you have Toronto in the playoffs! I knew you loved me... I would have SanJose higher, chicago aswell, no edmonton... and Philly missing the playoffs entirely...

  2. Well I think Toronto makes the playoffs for the next number of years, but does nothing with it.

San Jose just doesn't have it in them. They need to get rid of playoff underachiever Joe Thornton.

Chicago will do well in the playoffs, but they will be finish lower in the regular season because they don't have a 1-2 punch in net. Turco can only handle so much of the load. That and they are considerably less deep all around.

Edmonton is in because of the youth movement. They will outscore their opponents enough to get into the playoffs. That and shootouts. If no shootouts, Edmonton is much lower.

Philly is the beast in the east. I say they contend again for the Cup.

  3. I didn't even realize when I made this, but look at the matchups. Canucks/Oil, Devils/Pens, Flyers/Leafs, Red Wings/Hawks, Coyotes/Sharks, Caps/Lightning, Sabres/Bruins...some good divisional and historical rivalry there.
